Sphere XO Art: Hispanic Heritage Month

During Hispanic Heritage Month, Josue Ibañez’s three unique pieces were featured in the Las Vegas Sphere as part of the XO/Art program. 

“Papel Picado,” celebrates the diverse colors, symbolism, and people of Hispanic culture through one of its most traditional forms of craftwork.

“Mural” is a vibrant portrayal of Josue’s Latin American roots, and his way to remind people of the value of the cultural diversity expressed in Latin American crafts.⁣

 “Telar” is a lush visualization of the flora and fauna that have shaped the Hispanic world’s unique traditions, colors, and symbolism.
