Xavier Casalta
Xavier Casalta is a French artist who specializes in stippling; using black ink and a countless number of tiny dots to create laborious, detailed works of art.
With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and mastery, Casalta discovered his love for stippling after experimenting with a variety of illustration techniques. Once he found it, he never looked back.
Casalta’s work has since focused on compositions inspired by history, architecture, and nature. His collaborations with Dior, Remy Martin, and Louis XIII exemplify his preternatural skill to produce academic, machine-like imagery with a romantic level of intricacy. Other artworks created for contemporary artists like KAWS and James Jean, have reimagined the way we’ve looked at these artists’ most iconic characters.
