Elena G. Bansh
Born and raised in Milan, by a Russian mother and Italian father, trained at The Royal College of Art, Elena Galofaro Bansh, been listed for multiple awards. Her fantastical, figurative worlds blend fauna and human form, set against prosaic backdrops, yet imbued with mystery, curiosity and anticipation. She’s worked with NATURE, BBC Science Focus, Apple, Journal of Cell Biology, DC Comics and Domestika. She’s worked as a freelance animator through multiple studios worldwide, such as Fenix and Enanimation Studios in Italy, Cyclone Graphics in Tokyo. She was the lead animator and layout artist for the Bethe1to campaign by the American National Suicide Prevention and the Lifeline in New York and the lead 2D Animator for Khruangbin’s MV, ‘May Ninth’.
